Exposición Mujer y Ciencia Con motivo del pasado día Internacional de la mujer y la ciencia, el aula de capacidades del Institut Torrevicens, realizó una exposición sobre mujeres importantes en el ámbito de la ciencia y la tecnología. La exposición está formada por una serie de pósters en los que se explica la biografía de cada una de las científicas, sus aportaciones al mundo de la ciencia y la tecnología, el particular modo de realizar su trabajo y una conclusión a la que han llegado los alumnos sobre cada una de ellas. Cada póster incluye una información que permite descubrir el nombre escondido de una científica. Con este reto llevamos a cabo un concurso en el que participaron los alumnos del centro. También se han realizado dípticos explicativos de la exposición, así como vídeos sobre cada una de las científicas que aparecen en ellos.

Woman and science

Woman and Science On the occasion of the last International Day of Women and Science. The abilities classroom of the Torrevicens Secondary School have been involved in a project about relevant women in the science and technology areas. . The exhibition consists about a series of posters explaining the biography of each of those scientists, their contributions to the world of science and technology, their particular way of doing their work and a conclusion reached by the students about each of them. Each poster includes information that allows you to discover the hidden name of a scientist, as if it was a game. With this challenge we carried out a contest among the the students of our secondary school. We have also prepared some written information about this exhibition, as well as some videos about the scientists that appear in them.
