El Rift Africano

En este trabajo hemos estudiado lo que ha pasado en Kenia. Primero situándonos en lo que es un Rift, fallas y volcanes. Después de saber todo esto, hablamos sobre la gran grieta que se ha abierto en la zona. El Rift divide el continente Africano en cuatro partes o placas. Hemos explicado el porqué de esta situación y el cómo. Nos hemos informado también de todas las consecuencias que tiene el Rift en la zona y la influencia que ha tenido para el origen del hombre. ¿Por qué hemos elegido este tema? Nos ha parecido diferente e interesante, conocer cómo se ha formado la grieta en Kenia. Creemos que la noticia saldrá mas veces en las noticias en el futuro.

The African Rift

In this work, we have studied what is happening actually in Kenya. Firstly, we have explored what is a rift and what are faults and volcanoes. Afterwards, we present the characteristics of the great crack that has been opened in the region, and that has alerted the international media. The African Rift divides the African plate in four small plates. We have investigated why and how this situation is actually occurring in Africa. We have also explored the consequences that the rifting processes in the region, and how it also seems to condition the origin of the Humans. Why we have chosen this topic? We have found different and interesting, explain the origin of this crack in Kenya. We believe that this will also appear in the social media in the future.
