Proyecto «Bichos»: ¿qué características tendría un insecto perfecto?

A lo largo del tiempo, los insectos han ido colonizando la mayoría de los espacios del planeta. En este trabajo se quiere explicar y valorar la gran diversidad de formas que tienen este grupo de animales. Los resultados obtenidos, a partir del análisis de un total de 80 muestras de insectos, indican que la mayoría de los insectos presentan patas no saltadores dado que muchos de este pueden volar y, así, escaparse de sus enemigos. Por otra parte, la gran mayoría tienen antenas como órgano para interactuar con el medio que los rodea. Palabras clave: insectos, animales, morfología, evolución, diversidad.

Project "Bichos": what characteristics would a perfect insect have?

Over time, insects have colonized most of the spaces on the planet. In this work we want to explain and value the great diversity of forms that this group of animals have. The results obtained, from the analysis of a total of 80 samples of insects, indicate that the majority of insects have non-jumping legs since many of them can fly and, thus, escape from their enemies. On the other hand, the great majority have antennas as an organ to interact with the environment that surrounds them. Keywords: insects, animals, morphology, evolution, diversity.
